Privacy Policy

Bleecker is a private, invite-only network for licensed real estate agents in New York (“Bleecker,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use Bleecker on the web or through our mobile apps, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Account and profile. When you accept an invitation and create an account, we collect your name, email address, password, brokerage, and, if you add them, your phone number, license number, bio, profile photo, specialties, and the neighborhoods you work in.

Work email verification. If you verify a work email, we store that address and its verification status so other members can see your brokerage is confirmed.

Inquiries.Client inquiries you post — including type (buyer, seller, renter, rental), neighborhoods, bedrooms, bathrooms, budget, and any description you write — are visible to other Bleecker members. Don’t include information that identifies your clients.

Messages.Messages you send to other members, including photos and documents you attach, are stored so they can be delivered and shown in your conversation history. Messages are visible to you and the member you’re messaging; they are not public.

Invitations. When you invite a broker, we store the email address you invited and the status of the invitation.

Access requests. If you request access without an invitation, we store the name, email, brokerage, and referral information you submit.

We collect basic technical information needed to operate the service: log data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested), authentication session data, and — if you turn on notifications — a push subscription or device token used solely to deliver notifications to your device.

Bleecker does not use advertising trackers and does not sell your personal information.

We use your information to operate Bleecker: to authenticate you, display your profile and inquiries to other members, match complementary inquiries, deliver messages and notifications, send service emails (such as match alerts and invitation emails, which you can turn off in your profile), keep the network limited to licensed professionals, and maintain the security of the service.

With other members. Your profile, verification badges, inquiries, and — once you message someone — your conversation are visible to the relevant members. Bleecker is a members-only network; nothing you post is visible to the public web.

With service providers. We rely on a small number of providers to run Bleecker: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Resend (transactional email), and Apple and Google (push notification delivery on mobile). Each processes data only to provide their service to us.

Legal. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or security of Bleecker and its members.

We keep your information while your account is active. You can edit your profile and delete your inquiries at any time. To delete your account and associated personal information, email support@bleeckerapp.com and we will process the request within 30 days. Some information may be retained where required for legal or security purposes.

Your data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with access controls that limit each member to the data they’re entitled to see. No system is perfectly secure, but we design Bleecker so that private data stays private.

You can update your profile information at any time, control email notifications from your profile settings, and enable or disable push notifications in your device or browser settings. You may request a copy of your personal information by contacting us.

Bleecker is a professional network for licensed real estate agents and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and notify members through the app or by email.
